The villa offers a spacious and warm atmosphere, which was a welcome surprise in the chilly Italian Alps. One highlight was the private terrace - a charming spot to enjoy the views of the valley. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, providing us with basic supplies when we forgot some essentials. We enjoyed the local touch with the homemade cheese and delicious yogurt, perfect for our family's breakfasts. While it's a working farmhouse, which can be intriguing for kids, those with allergies might want to think twice. The area is great for skiing in Sulden am Ortler if you have a car and prefer the serenity outside the resort. The apartment provided ample cooking facilities, and the free parking was a definite plus for this budget-conscious family. Patztauhof Villa strikes a practical balance between luxury and value. For nature-loving families, it's worth considering.
